• Event information: event name, date, venue, and guest contact details (email or phone number) that you provide.
• Video clips: footage recorded by guests through the platform, stored securely in Cloudflare R2.
• Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, and device/browser information collected automatically.
• Communications: emails and SMS messages sent to guests on your behalf.

3. How we use your information

• To provide and operate the WeditVideo service.
• To send event invitations and reminders to guests via email or SMS.
• To store and deliver video clips to the couple.
• To improve our product and fix issues.
• To communicate with you about your account or our service.

4. SMS messaging

If you provide guest phone numbers, we will send SMS invitations and reminders to those guests on your behalf using our messaging service (Twilio). By providing a guest's phone number, you confirm that you have the guest's consent to receive these messages.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Guests can reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. For help, reply HELP or contact us at info@wedit.com.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate our platform (authentication, cloud storage, email/SMS delivery, database hosting) and only for those purposes.

6. Data retention

Video clips are retained for 30 days after your event date, then deleted. Account and event metadata is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@wedit.com.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted storage, HTTPS, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Your rights
